The Honda Civic is a compact car available as a sedan and Hatchback that has been produced by Honda for eleven generations since 1972 when it replaced the Honda 600 which was produced from 1970 to 1972. The Civic is currently available as a sedan and hatchback and has also been available as a Coupe and station wagon in previous Generations. Eleven generations of the Civic have been produced between 1972 and 1978, 1979 to 1983, 1984 to 1987, 1988 to 1991, 1992 to 1994, 1995 to 2000, 2001 to 2005, 2006 to 2011, 2012 to 2015, 2016 to 2021, and 2022 to 2027 when it will be replaced by the hybrid only twelfth-generation civic for the 2028 model year.
